Who runs this

BrainBytes Tools is a brand of HR Online Consulting LLC, a Swiss-registered limited liability company (EIN 61-2199060). Contact: support@brainbyt.es.

What the extensions store

Settings and user-saved content (TypeInspect saved library, StartTab profiles, ReloadLoop presets, JSONScope snippets, PDFInTab bookmarks) are stored via chrome.storage.sync. That data syncs across your Chrome profile under your Google account. We never see it.

We do not run analytics scripts inside the extensions. No PostHog, no Mixpanel, no Sentry, no fingerprinting, no ad networks.

When we contact the license server

The license server (brainbyt.es) is contacted only when you take a specific action:

• You activate a Pro license key.
• You recover a key by email.
• You open the Stripe billing portal from the extension.

The result is cached locally so the extension does not phone home on every browser start. We log the request with a daily-rotating hash of your IP plus a hash of your user agent for fraud detection. No raw IP, no full UA string, no cookies.

Payments and email

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your billing email, country, and the line items you bought. We do not see your card data. Subscription management runs through the Stripe billing portal.

Transactional email (license keys, recovery links, receipts) is sent via Resend. We do not run marketing campaigns by default. You can request deletion of your account email by writing to support@brainbyt.es.

This website

The marketing site at brainbyt.es uses PostHog for aggregate page-view analytics only. No personal identifiers are sent. You can opt out via browser-level Do-Not-Track headers; we honour them.

Your rights (GDPR + Swiss FADP)

You can request export, correction, or deletion of any data we hold about you. Email support@brainbyt.es. We respond within 30 days. Standard GDPR rights apply to all EU residents; Swiss FADP rights apply to all Swiss residents.

Changes to this policy

We will date-stamp every meaningful change at the top of this page. Material changes (new data category, new sub-processor) are also announced by email to active licensees.
